The Young and the Restless 12-12-22 Spoiler, Monday:
Lily Winters and Billy Abbott’s relationship is on the brink of collapse, and they are both feeling the strain. The couple has tried talking things out several times, but each time they end up fighting again over Chelsea. Billy’s closeness with Chelsea as of late has caused him to distance from Lily.
Therefore, Lily will express her worries to Billy about his connection with Chelsea. He’ll promise to give Lily his undivided attention once Chelsea recovers from her ordeal. It remains to be seen, however, whether Billy will be able to follow through on his promise to Lily in the days ahead.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson has been experiencing something more than a platonic friendship with Billy. Most likely, she’ll start having feelings for Billy. She plans to come clean about her history with Billy and say she’s sorry for the horrible thing she did to him. In spite of this, Billy has already extended his forgiveness to Chelsea over this matter.
Therefore, it is almost certain that they will end up comforting one another. emotionally at some point, so Lily may have good reason to be concerned about how close they are becoming.
On the other hand, Jack Abbott will be very angry with Ashley Abbott and Nikki Newman for their part in getting Diane Jenkin to leave town.
He is out of his mind because Jeremy threatened Diane and his family. Now that Jack has taken action, the situation is only going to get more dire, and this will almost certainly result in a huge shock down the line. Due to Ashley and Nikki’s involvement in Phyllis’s diabolical scheme, they will be in for a lot of turmoil.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summer is about to make a reckless move that might make an already bad situation with Jeremy much worse. Diane’s safe haven might be compromised if she does something that could lead to her discovery.
No matter the outcome, Phyllis will only cause more problems for herself by going up against Diane. It’s possible that Jack will do something terrible, and things will get much worse for Phyllis in the days ahead.
