Israeli forces blocked thousands of Palestinians from attending Friday prayers in Nablus.

Israel’s war on Gaza, now in its 343rd day, has killed 41,118 Palestinians and injured 95,125, according to conservative estimates. Over 10,000 people are believed to be buried under the rubble of bombed homes.

Israeli forces stopped Palestinians from reaching the outskirts of Jabal Sbaih in Beita, a town south of Nablus, preventing them from performing Friday noon prayers, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency.

Mahmoud Barham, head of Beita’s municipal council, said that Israeli forces set up strict military checkpoints at key intersections, blocking worshippers from accessing the area.
