Israeli Army Shells Southern Lebanon Amid “Limited” Ground Invasion

Israel’s war on Gaza, now in its 361st day, has killed at least 41,615 Palestinians. Additionally, over 900 people have been killed since September 23 in Israel’s deadly bombing across Lebanon.

The Israeli army launched an artillery bombardment on several towns in southern Lebanon, following its announcement of a “limited” ground invasion in the northern region.

Citizens were warned by the military to avoid traveling by vehicle from northern areas to the southern region of the Litani River.

According to the army, “limited, localized, and targeted ground raids” were carried out against Hezbollah positions and infrastructure, based on precise intelligence.

Lebanon’s official news agency, NNA, reported that the shelling lasted over two hours and hit the towns of Wazzani, Marjeyoun, and Khiyam.
